January 25th: Headed for AlbuquerqueLots of abandoned buildings litter the side of this road. It seems more buildings are empty then occupied. It feels like we are surrounded by lots of sad, unwritten history. Many of these places look like they were vacated in a hurry. The peoples clothes are still there and many buildings still have food on the kitchen shelves.
Red Rock Canyon was amazing. The wind-worn hills with their deep red color look like something out of an old western movie. Simply beautiful!
Sorry, this is a huge page with lots of photos and I am sure it is very slow to load.
Timeline: Earliest photo sets are at the bottom of the page. The more recent ones are at the top.
