Our Porch Lizard

Our favorite porch lizard died on Thursday, December 8.  She got injured around the time of Hurricane Wilma and could no longer use her back legs properly.  Since these lizards live on the walls and ceilings, this made it very hard for her to survive and catch bugs properly in her habitat.  She survived over six weeks, getting weaker and weaker until earlier in the week when she started falling from the walls quite frequently.  We made her as comfortable as we could and she passed away between 9 and 10 in the morning.  We have been watching her for almost a year and miss her very much.  She was a good lizard!
